About the Role
SOS Hose Services are looking for a Mobile Field Engineer to join our growing team, providing on-site hydraulic hose replacement and repair services to customers across the region.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, travelling to different sites and solving problems out in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair hydraulic hose and related equipment
- Replace hydraulic hoses on-site
- Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections
- Respond to breakdowns and provide a reliable, professional service
- Complete job sheets and maintain accurate records
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle to a high standard
- Follow all company health & safety procedures
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Mechanically minded and confident working with tools and equipment
- Experienced in hydraulics, plant, agricultural or similar industries (desirable)
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Reliable, practical and able to work under pressure
- Willing to travel to customer sites as required
- Full UK driving licence required
Full training can be provided for the right candidate, although previous hydraulic or mechanical experience would be an advantage.
