We are seeking a dedicated and professional Sports Massage Therapist to join our wellness team at medplus Aesthtics. Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and sports massage.
- Assess clients' physical condition, concerns, and treatment requirements through professional consultations.
- Apply appropriate massage techniques before or after physical activity, where suitable.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, safe, and relaxing treatment environment.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, stretching, hydration, recovery, and appropriate wellness routines.
- Recommend suitable follow-up treatments based on clients' needs and progress.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client consultations, treatments, and progress.
- Ensure all treatments are performed in accordance with health, safety, hygiene, and professional standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide an exceptional customer experience.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or in a similar role within a wellness or spa setting is preferred
- Relevant certification or qualification from an accredited sports massage or massage therapy program is required.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, muscles, and body mechanics.
- Practical experience in sports massage and therapeutic massage techniques.
- Ability to assess clients' needs and provide treatments tailored to individual requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, reliable, and client-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently while also being a positive member of a professional team.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends where required.

Pay: £12.71-£20.00 per hour
