A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join us at Holland Horticulture. We are a well established family based company looking for a confident, reliable and sales-focused person to join our Manchester store.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong retail or face-to-face sales experience
- Is confident, friendly and comfortable approaching customers
- Has a genuine sales mentality and enjoys closing a sale
- Is reliable and punctual
- Is happy helping with stock, deliveries and general shop duties
- Helping to Pick, pack and processing online orders
- Can learn a technical product range and give customers good advice
- Is flexible and able to work between approximately 8 and 40 hours depending on business requirements
- Can work weekends when required
The Role
This position is for a minimum of 8 hours per week. This role would particularly suit someone looking for flexible work who is happy to pick up additional hours covering holidays, sickness and busy periods.
Opening hours: Monday to Saturday 10:00 - 18.00, Sunday 11:00 - 16:00.
An understanding of horticulture would be preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
Main duties include: Serving customers which includes heavy lifting, stock taking, cash handling, ensuring displays are well maintained and fully stocked, ensuring a clean and safe working environment is kept at all times. You’ll also play an important part in our online order fulfilment operation, picking, packing and processing online orders
Pay: £12.71-£12.72 per hour
