Job Summary
THE NEXUS GLOBE LTD is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Technician to support the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of electronic and telecommunications equipment. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient operation of electrical systems, assist with product testing and troubleshooting, and support the company's wholesale and online retail operations by maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and technical performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test, and maintain electronic and electrical equipment and components.
- Diagnose and repair faults in telecommunications and electronic systems using technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Assemble, wire, and configure electrical panels, devices, and related equipment.
- Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Support the testing and quality assurance of electronic products before distribution.
- Maintain accurate service, maintenance, and testing records.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical safety regulations, company procedures, and industry standards.
- Work closely with technical and warehouse teams to support product installation, repairs, and customer requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar electrical/electronics role.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, electronic equipment, and fault-finding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £41,700.00 per year
