We’re looking for a CompEx 1–4 qualified electrician who wants to be part of a growing company where your work is valued, your skills are recognised, and you’re given the opportunity to develop alongside us.
What you’ll be doing
As part of our team, you’ll be involved in specialist hazardous area work, including:
● Electrical installations, inspection and maintenance within hazardous (Ex) environments
● Inspection, testing and fault finding in ATEX classified areas
● Electrical maintenance and remedial works on hazardous area equipment and systems
● Working to the latest BS 7671 standards, CompEx requirements and safe working practices
● Completing certification and job documentation accurately and to a high standard
● Representing WP Concepts Electrical professionally with our clients
● Working alongside a supportive team to deliver quality workmanship every time
This is a specialist role focused entirely on hazardous area environments, offering the opportunity to develop deep technical expertise in a highly skilled sector.
We’re looking for someone who has:
Essential
● CompEx Modules 1–4 (Essential)
● NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
● 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
● Full UK Driving Licence
● A positive attitude, strong work ethic and pride in producing high-quality, safety-critical work
Desirable
● 2391 Inspection & Testing
● Experience working in industrial and hazardous area environments
