As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll help keep our kitchen running smoothly by:
✅ Preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard
✅ Supporting your team to deliver great food and service
✅ Receiving, storing and organising deliveries
✅ Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleaning standards
✅ Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
✅ Checking stock, dates and food quality
✅ Using kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
✅ Helping to reduce waste and keep the kitchen organised
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience in a kitchen, catering or hospitality environment
Works well in a busy team and communicates effectively
Is organised, reliable and able to use their initiative
Understands food hygiene, allergens and kitchen safety
Can stay calm under pressure and maintain high standards
Holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
