Overview
We are looking for a strong and highly motivated individual to be part of our Managed Services Department.
Must be self-directed, able to work with minimal documentation, have keen attention to detail, and be a clear communicator. Our business motto is to make “printing on grass as easy as printing on paper” and we are currently growing our customer base with some world leaders in sport. This is a hands-on role and will include supporting our activation and removal leaders when printing and removing our logos.
We must be flexible in servicing our customers, with early/late and weekend shifts required in varying regularity and in locations across K, and to support growth opportunities into Europe and beyond in 2026.
All diaries are planned months in advance but due to the irregular times, weather conditions, and customer schedules, arrangements can change.
You will also be supporting our Sales team when high impact demonstrations are required, these engagements could be anywhere in the UK, Europe or Worldwide.
This is a varied role, supporting sales, servicing customers to tight deadlines, and ensuring the GroundWOW reputation is maintained and, where possible, exceeded.

The position
In this job, you will:
- Be trained in the use of World first autonomous robotic ground printers.
- Become a Managed Services activation specialist.
- Become a valued member of our field activation and removal crews.
- Support preparation of equipment, transport, and set up of Top Tier Sports and Brand activations and become a key member of the team using our technology for printing, drying, and removal activities on a weekly basis client sites.
- Have a minimum 3 days out of the office per week with potentially more travel required during high season in the industry.
- Potentially have some weekend work.
- Become qualified to lead our print services.
- Be trained to work to pre-defined documentation and work instructions to support in the manufacturing of the product itself, so some mechanical knowledge and hands on experience is beneficial.
- Learn and contribute to routine operation of equipment including inspection, cleaning, and maintenance in accordance with operational instructions.
About You
The key skills and qualifications you have include:
- 1+ years of technician work with mechanical/electrical and electronic assemblies would be great, but not essential.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment (full training given)
- Ability to work outdoors. All PPE will be provided.
- Interest in sport, advertising, mechanical engineering and electronics would be perfect!
- Confident to communicate with staff at large sporting organisations, at all levels.
- Ability to work to activation schedules with minimal supervision and flag issues in-time.
- Ability to conduct mechanical assembly such as frame and chassis assembly and electrical assembly, such as cable harnesses, discrete components, and potentially soldering.
- Ability to run small mechanical machinery, e.g. Pillar drill, 3D printers, or milling / turning machines is a plus.
- Good familiarity with shop tools such as hand tools and power tools including drills and torque wrenches.
- A real all-rounder available to be flexible for time and location, with an appetite for sales, service, and team support.
- Clean UK driving licence preferred but not essential.
Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
