Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook authentic pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pizza station and surrounding areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with meal preparation for other menu items as required
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to guarantee optimal quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and timely order fulfilment
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including proper handling of kitchen equipment and ingredients
- Contribute to maintaining a positive, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar kitchen role, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Experience in meal preparation, especially in pizza making or related culinary skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as required
- Previous restaurant experience or serving background is advantageous but not essential
- A genuine passion for culinary arts and delivering excellent customer experiences
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
