About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will provide leadership and support to care staff while ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered to our residents. You will lead by example, promote best practice, and help create a safe, positive, and empowering environment for the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of Support Workers to deliver outstanding care and support.
- Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and daily records are completed accurately and to a high standard.
- Support residents to achieve their goals, maximise independence, and participate in community activities.
- Promote positive behaviour support approaches and person-centred care.
- Assist with medication administration and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Act as a role model for professional practice and company values.
- Support new staff through induction, mentoring, and ongoing development.
- Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Lead Adult Care (or equivalent) – essential.
- Previous experience supporting adults with autism and/or mental health conditions.
- Experience supervising or leading a team within a care environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
- Good understanding of safeguarding, medication management, and CQC standards.
What We Offer:
Working Hours
working 40 or 49 hour weeks with your team, on a static shift pattern, Our shift days do not change and over a 2 week basis you will work Monday, Tuesday, Friday pm, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday am. hours will be allocated to these days between the hours of 8am and 10pm.
Pay:
Earn between £27060.80 and £33,149.48 per annum with additional from Sleep in
Shift Pattern
- Static shift pattern providing consistency and work-life balance.
- Sleep-in duties required as part of the role.
Sleep-In Rate
- £56.50 per sleep-in night
