Are you an organised administrator who thrives on keeping things running efficiently behind the scenes? Do you enjoy coordinating people, processes and facilities to ensure everything operates safely and effectively?
Bushey United Synagogue is seeking a proactive Facilities & Operations Administrator to play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of our thriving community. This is a varied and rewarding position where you'll support facilities management, health and safety compliance, security administration and operational processes across our site.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Facilities & Operations Administrator, you'll:
- Coordinate maintenance requests and contractor visits
- Maintain facilities, compliance and health & safety records
- Schedule inspections, servicing and statutory checks
- Support security administration and external providers
- Manage routine procurement and operational supplies
- Prepare reports, maintain databases an
- Provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of synagogue premises
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous administrative experience
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good Microsoft Office and IT skills
- Experience maintaining records and filing systems
- The ability to manage priorities and work with a variety of stakeholders
Experience in facilities administration, health & safety, property management, compliance records, charities or community organisations would be an advantage.
