Overview
We are seeking a diligent and organised Post Completion Conveyancing Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the finalisation of property transactions following completion, including document processing and record updates
- Prepare and organise legal documentation using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Manage correspondence related to conveyancing matters via Microsoft Outlook and other communication channels
- Liaise effectively with clients to facilitate smooth transaction progress
- Maintain accurate records of all post-completion activities in accordance with company procedures
- Support the team with general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments
- Ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes, demonstrating excellent time management skills
- Utilise organisational skills to prioritise workload efficiently and meet deadlines consistently
Experience
- Previous experience in a legal or conveyancing environment is essential; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programmes, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software or systems quickly
- Demonstrated organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently as well as part of a team
