Overview
We are seeking a skilled commercial tyre fitter to join our growing team in maintaining all car, truck, plant and tractor tyres. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work effectively with hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Mounting, balancing, and rotating tyres
- Inspecting tyres for wear and damage
- Repairing punctures and minor tyre damage
- Maintaining accurate records of tyre services performed
- Assisting customers with tyre selection and providing basic advice on tyre maintenance
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools for tyre service tasks
- Ability to lift heavy tyres and perform physical tasks
- Mechanical knowledge for diagnosing tyre issues
- Experience with power tools for efficient tyre service
- Strong customer service skills for interacting with clients
