We offer a full range of services related to Natural Horsemanship ensuring every aspect of the equine journey is supported. Unlocking the full potential and to build a stronger more rewarding partnership with your horse. Services offered include ground work, troubleshooting, loading, bio mechanics, liberty, bitless riding, ridden challenges and for youngstock we offer the opportunity to build solid foundations through gentle effective methods. We also offer clinics and demos.
We are looking for an apprentice who has a natural affinity to horses to join our team.
The role will include
Yard duties and all aspects of stable management
Grooming
Assisting in all aspects of horse welfare
Shadowing Ali to learn the fundamentals of liberty work
Skills and Qualities
Previous basic experience around horses
Common sense
Initiative
Good communicator
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to problem solving
Natural affinity to horses
Applicants will need to drive or show on their application that they have a reliable means of computing to the yard due to its location.
Qualifications
Applicants must not already hold a Level 2 qualification in equine.
GCSE’s in Maths and English are advantageous, but not essential
Future Prospects
Employment for the right candidate if a position is available.
Training
Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
The applicant will be working towards and gain a Level 2 Equine Groom Apprenticeship
The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship.
The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of their apprenticeship.
