Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within our client’s premises. Your duties will include monitoring surveillance systems, preventing loss, and ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and property through diligent security practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a secure environment while supporting the smooth operation of our client’s facilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security standards are upheld
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing and deterring theft or vandalism
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary
- Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and security checks in logs and reports
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, and contractors
- Collaborate with emergency responders and management during incidents to ensure effective resolution
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security operations or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies; first aid certification is highly desirable
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods as required by patrol routines

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
