About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and organised Operations Manager to join our growing care team. This is a varied and rewarding role combining office-based administrative responsibilities with hands-on support shifts in the community.
You will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered consistently, safely, and in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Administrative Duties:
- Conduct regular care audits and quality checks
- Update and review care plans to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Carry out staff supervisions and support performance development
- Assist with rota coordination and general office administration
- Participate in the on-call rota as required
- Support compliance with CQC and company policies
Field-Based Duties:
- Deliver care and support shifts as required
- Carry out spot checks and competency observations
- Provide hands-on guidance and mentoring to care staff
- Build positive relationships with service users and families
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
- Previous experience in a health & social care setting
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience completing audits and care documentation (desirable)
- Ability to balance office responsibilities with hands-on care delivery
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rota
