Advantage Education is recruiting on behalf of a school for a full-time Teacher to start in September.

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality teaching, create an inclusive and engaging learning environment, and work closely with colleagues, families and external professionals to support every learner to thrive.
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Use assessment effectively to monitor progress, inform planning and provide meaningful feedback.
- Create a purposeful classroom environment with high expectations for learning and behaviour.
- Adapt teaching approaches to support pupils with a range of needs, including SEND and SEMH.
- Assess, record and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations.
- Provide pastoral support and promote pupils' wellbeing, safety and personal development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, carers and external agencies.
- Contribute to wider school life, enrichment opportunities and ongoing professional development.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
- Experience teaching pupils in KS2, KS3 or KS4.
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Experience planning, delivering and assessing high-quality learning.
- Strong behaviour management, communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to build positive, respectful relationships with pupils and colleagues.
- Confidence using ICT to support teaching and administration.

It would be advantageous to have:
- Further relevant qualifications.
- Experience of trauma-informed practice.
- An understanding of strategies to support pupils with SEND and SEMH.
