SWLP is a specialist company of Lightning Conductor Engineers, offering the full range of Lightning Protection services (testing, design and installation) throughout the South West of England, from our office location, in Plymouth.
Additionally we are able to provide the following services to our clients, who require them,
- Safety Line inspection and testing
- Fixed ladder inspection and testing
- Harness inspections
- Pull Testing, (rope access & ladder/window cleaners anchors)
- Industrial abseiling
- General high level maintenance
Job description
Full time position (40hrs) with oppurtunities for additional hours
You will assist a qualified lightning conductor engineer.
Should have a good head for heights as roof work, and ladders are used as part of our works
General works included testing and installation of lightning protection systems within construction sites and Ministry of defence facilties.
Candidates should have good communication skills, and be computer literate, you will be working as part of a team., and on your own once training has been completed.
CSCS card is an advantage, and other construction trading qualifications
Additional Training will be provided
Works are mainly in the south west region, however some lodging away will be required, which an allowance is paid & hotel paid for.

For suitable candidates , after training a van will be provided
Candidates will be required to hold a full UK driving licence
