We are seeking to appoint an experienced, analytical, and forward-thinking Data, Systems & Insights Specialist to support the delivery of high-quality data, systems, and business intelligence services across Place Partnership. Working as part of our Data Shared Services function, the successful candidate will play a key role in transforming how data is managed, analysed, and used across the Trust, ensuring that leaders have access to accurate, timely, and actionable information to support decision-making.
The role requires significant experience in data analysis, reporting, and systems development, alongside excellent technical skills in data visualisation and business intelligence tools. Based from a Place Partnership South Hub office location in Maltby, and working collaboratively across our academies, the Data, Systems & Insights Specialist will lead on the production of Trust-wide dashboards, performance reports, and analytical insights whilst supporting the continued development of our management information systems, data platforms, and reporting frameworks.
Working closely with the Trust Data Lead and wider Data Shared Services Team, the successful candidate will contribute to major Trust improvement and transformation projects, helping to standardise systems, streamline processes, and maximise the value of data across the organisation. They will support academy and central teams through the provision of advanced data analysis, management information, statutory returns, timetabling processes, assessment systems, and data governance activities, ensuring that information remains robust, reliable, and compliant with Trust standards.
The role will also provide professional support and guidance to academy-based data colleagues, helping to develop consistent approaches to data management, reporting, and system usage across Place Partnership. The successful candidate will be confident in analysing complex datasets, identifying trends, challenging inaccuracies, and translating information into meaningful insights for a wide range of stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be proactive, solution-focused, and committed to continuous improvement. With a strong focus on accuracy, innovation, and customer service, they will play a vital role in ensuring our data systems and reporting capabilities effectively support educational outcomes, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making across the Trust.
About Place Partnership
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking and ambitious organisation, driven by a genuine passion for the wellbeing, care and education of young people.
Place Partnership represents the voluntary merger of two strong and successful Trusts in South and West Yorkshire: Maltby Learning Trust, established in 2014, and Accord Multi Academy Trust, founded in 2016. Both organisations shared a clear ambition - to grow our families of schools, extend the impact of our work, and ensure more children, families and communities could benefit from high-quality education. We recognise that by coming together, we will create a larger organisation with greater capacity to deliver exceptional learning experiences, strengthen school improvement, and contribute more meaningfully to the wider education system. From 1 September 2026, we will comprise 12 academies, supporting children and young people from early years through to Post 16.
We treat people with care and compassion, building belonging, and hold high expectations because everyone matters. We recognise that our people are our greatest strength, and as such, we offer a comprehensive suite of benefits as part of our commitment to wellbeing and professional growth.
