Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils.
- Support chefs during service by ensuring all necessary ingredients and equipment are readily available.
- Help with the storage of food items, ensuring proper stock rotation and hygiene standards are met.
- Clean kitchen appliances, work surfaces, and floors to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies as required.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is advantageous.
