We are opening a brand-new travel shop within Longacres Garden Centre in Ashford and are looking for experienced Travel Consultants to join our new team.
This is not a trainee position. We are looking for people with genuine travel industry experience who love helping customers find and book great holidays.
If you've spent years building your travel knowledge and would now like a flexible part-time position of approximately 12–16 hours per week, we'd particularly like to hear from you.
The Role
You'll be part of a small, experienced team providing a personal, face-to-face travel service.
You'll help customers research, plan and book everything from traditional holidays to:
- Cruises
- Long-haul
- Luxury holidays
- Tailor-made itineraries
- Ski holidays
- Disney
- Adventure travel
- City breaks and worldwide holidays
Our shop will be open 7 days a week, so weekend working will be shared fairly across the team.
You should be available to work approximately 2 weekends in every 4 on a rota basis, although this will not necessarily mean working both Saturday and Sunday.
We're Looking For
Previous travel agency or tour operator experience is essential.
You should be confident dealing directly with customers, researching and recommending holidays, making bookings and providing excellent service from the initial enquiry through to after-sales care.
We're particularly interested in people with strong knowledge of Cruise, Long Haul, Luxury, Ski, Disney or tailor-made travel.

You'll be joining us from the very beginning and will have the opportunity to become an important part of building a successful new travel agency in Ashford.
Our Grand Opening is planned for Saturday 12th September 2026.
