At Simply Hair, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Stylist to join our award-winning Chelmsford salon.
The opportunity
This is a fully employed Senior Stylist position for an experienced hairdresser who loves their craft, cares deeply about their clients and wants to continue growing.
You’ll be joining an established, supportive salon with clear systems, ongoing education and a strong focus on exceptional client experiences.
We want you to have the confidence to bring your existing experience to the team, while having opportunities to refine your skills and explore where your career could take you next.
For the right stylist, there may be opportunities to develop specialist expertise in areas such as colour, curls or extensions as your career with us develops.
You could be a great fit if you...
- Have around 5+ years' experience as a qualified stylist
- Are confident delivering professional consultations
- Have strong cutting and colouring skills
- Are experienced in services such as highlights, balayage and grey coverage
- Take genuine pride in creating beautiful, consistent work
- Enjoy building long-term relationships with your clients
- Naturally recommend professional homecare because you care about maintaining your clients' results
- Enjoy learning and continuing to refine your skills
- Work well as part of a team and naturally support those around you
- Stay calm, organised and professional during a busy salon day
- Care about the details that turn a good client experience into an exceptional one
Experience in curl/texture cutting or hair extensions would be particularly welcomed, although this isn't essential.
