About the Role
As a Housekeeping Assistant at Melfort Village, you'll be an integral part of our team, ensuring our cottages, leisure facilities, offices, and public areas are spotless and welcoming for our guests.
This is a part-time role, working 16-24 hours per week. Weekend work is required on a rota basis to ensure our guests have a great experience, no matter when they visit.
Pay Rate: £12.71-£13.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities Cleaning and Presentation of the Resort
Ensure the cleanliness of all cottages, leisure facilities, offices, and public areas, including:
- Children's games room, adults' games room, and owners' laundry
- Entrance to Gunpowder House, telephone booth, and Club Room
- Walled Garden central block, including sauna and games room
- Offices and associated areas
- Windows of offices and leisure facilities
- All other public areas
Laundry Duties
Perform all laundry-related tasks, including washing, drying, ironing, and mending.
Cottage Cleaning
Assist with cottage changeovers, mid-week linen changes, spring cleaning, and preparing linen bins for changeovers.
General Upkeep
Keep the club vehicle, stores, and workshops tidy and clean as required.
