Long established family plant business, looking for a competent Heavy Plant Engineer to join our team.
Summary
As a Heavy Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy plant machinery, ensuring efficient and safe operations on site. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills with to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Good skills in welding and electrical experience will enhance your ability to handle complex machinery. Additionally, your relevant experience with a range of plant equipment will be essential in executing tasks effectively, contributing to our overall success. Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain heavy plant machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Both on site and within our workshops.
- Conduct regular inspections and perform necessary repairs on equipment using hand and power tools.
- Assemble and fabricate components as needed, adhering to schematics and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and team members.
Must be a confident, friendly individual that has transferrable customer service skills as you will be working closely with our customers, suppliers and colleagues.
Van and Fuel Card Provided.
Salary is dependant on skills, qualifications and experience within the range advertised.

Core hours 07:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday. Overtime as required, will be pre-agreed prior with Supervisor. All breaks are paid, meaning 47.5 working week will be 42.5 of working.

Must be fully qualified.
Experience within similar a role.
References will be required.
