Full-Time Sales Consultant Luxury Retail / Fine Jewellery
Fogal & Barnes Fine Jewellers | Harrogate
Fogal & Barnes is an independent, family-run jewellery boutique in the heart of Harrogate, specialising in bespoke engagement rings, natural and lab-grown diamonds, and fine jewellery. We are looking for a full-time team member who can deliver exceptional service on the showroom floor and support with our social media and online presence alongside it.
This is a customer-facing role at its core, with the opportunity to support and contribute to our marketing efforts as part of the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
In the showroom:
- Delivering exceptional face-to-face customer service
- Guiding customers through jewellery purchases and enquiries
- Maintaining a high standard of showroom presentation
- Supporting day-to-day shop operations
- Opening and closing the premises, once trained
Supporting our marketing:
- Helping capture content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Contributing ideas to our content calendar
- Assisting with posting and day-to-day social media upkeep
- Supporting updates to our website as needed
- Helping respond to online enquiries when in the showroom
Requirements
- Experience with social media, content creation, or digital marketing
- Comfortable with websites and online platforms
- Minimum five years' retail experience, luxury or premium retail preferred
- Experience handling high-value items and guiding considered, big-ticket purchases
- Strong sales ability and a natural team player
- Trustworthy and reliable, with excellent references
- Well-presented, professional, and confident with the public
- Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
