Performing Arts Teacher at Articulate Drama School and Casting Agency.
We're looking for experienced and enthusiastic Performing Arts Teachers to join our team at Articulate! The ideal candidate must have professional industry experience, expertise in teaching performing arts and have a genuine passion for nurturing and developing a child's talent.
Your Role/Duties:
- Planning exciting and challenging performing arts lessons for ages 4 - 18+.
- Deliver weekly lessons across our venues.
- Encourage and support each student during their lesson with Articulate
- Build the confidence of those as young as 4 years old through performance.
- Provide constructive and detailed feedback to students during their lessons.
- Alongside the centre coordinator, provide a safe environment with good behaviour management skills, as well as supporting those with SEN.
- Collaborate with the Drama School Manager in order to bring fresh, innovative new ideas to the classroom.
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
Enhanced DBS.
Industry Experience: Evidential experience of working in the industry
Teaching Experience: A minimum of 2 years teaching children and teens.
Safeguarding: Sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding measures and precautions.
Desirable:
Education: A Bachelor’s degree
SEN training and/or experience working with children.
Driving licence and access to a car.
First Aid trained.
Locations: We are currently looking for performing arts teachers to work at the following locations: Bingley, Baildon, Ilkley and Batley.
Pay: £25 to £35per hour DOE
