Our customers come for the great food and drink, but stay for the friendly, welcoming vibe. We’re looking for a passionate, customer-focused Barista to join our team and enhance the coffee experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, and other beverages with precision and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and personalised approach.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and barista area, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and well-maintained.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies and ensuring the café environment is inviting for guests.
- Work alongside the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and keep records of sales.
- Upsell products where appropriate and keep customers informed of any specials or new offerings.
- Ensure consistency in drink preparation, presentation, and quality.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food handling guidelines at all times.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar fast-paced customer service role is preferred.
- A genuine passion for coffee and a keen interest in learning more about coffee-making.
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and operating the till.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and evenings as required.
- High standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
