GRE is looking for a confident, reliable and commercially-minded Property Viewing & Lettings Assistant to help fill rooms quickly across our shared accommodation portfolio in Manchester.
This is a results-focused role. The purpose is not simply to attend viewings, but to help convert good enquiries into suitable tenants. You will be responsible for presenting rooms professionally, building rapport with prospective tenants, asking the right questions, identifying serious applicants, encouraging them to take the next step, and reporting back quickly after each viewing.
The role includes a base hourly rate plus performance bonuses linked to qualified applications, successful move-ins and fast lets.
Responsibilities
- Attend pre-arranged room viewings
- Present rooms and shared areas clearly and professionally
- Build rapport with prospective tenants
- Ask questions to understand suitability, timescale and level of interest
- Encourage serious prospects to apply promptly
- Report viewing feedback quickly after each appointment
- Flag strong/hot leads immediately
- Follow company viewing scripts and process
- Help reduce vacancy periods by moving quickly and professionally
- Represent the business in a friendly, confident and professional manner
Requirements
- Confident, friendly and professional communicator
- Sharp, well-spoken and presentable
- Reliable, punctual and responsive
- Comfortable in a results-focused role
- Able to follow up and help move serious applicants forward
- Own car and driving licence preferred/required
- Availability for some evenings and weekends
- Sales, lettings, recruitment, hospitality, estate agency or customer service experience preferred
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow a clear process
Pay
- £15/hour for approved viewing blocks
- Minimum 2-hour paid block for viewing appointments
- Mileage and parking reimbursed
- Performance bonuses available:
- £15 per qualified application
- £75 per successful move-in
- £50 fast-let bonus when a room is filled quickly
- £25 quality bonus after first month
Performance expectations
This role is suited to someone who is proactive, responsive and motivated by results. We review performance based on reliability, communication speed, viewing feedback, qualified applications, successful move-ins and tenant quality.
