Das Technik Auto Centre is looking for an experienced German Vehicle Technician to join our team.
We are looking for someone who is confident, technically minded and passionate about German vehicles. Whether you’re diagnosing a complex electrical fault, carrying out mechanical repairs or completing routine servicing, you’ll be someone who takes pride in getting the job done properly and to a high standard.
The Role
You’ll be working on a variety of German vehicles, carrying out:
● Servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
● Advanced fault-finding and diagnostics
● Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis
● Vehicle inspections and health checks
● Timing belt/chain work and general engine repairs
● Braking, suspension, steering and drivetrain repairs
● Identifying and resolving faults efficiently and accurately
● Ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop in excellent condition
Who We’re Looking For
We’re not just looking for someone who can turn a spanner — we want a technician who thinks like a technician.
The ideal candidate will have:
● Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
● Strong experience working with German vehicles
● Excellent mechanical and diagnostic knowledge
● Outstanding attention to detail
● Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
● The confidence to diagnose and repair faults independently
● The ability to work without constant supervision or guidance
● A strong work ethic and pride in their workmanship
● The ability to work well as part of a team
● A positive, professional and reliable attitude
● A willingness to learn new technologies, systems and repair techniques
Experience with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche or other German marques would be highly desirable.
