Face Clinic London is a long-established private medical and aesthetics clinic in the heart of Soho, Central London, moments from Oxford Street and Piccadilly Circus. Since 2009, we have offered professional, personalised care and built a loyal client base who value the relationships they develop with our clinical team.We are looking for a self-employed Dental Hygienist to work with us in establishing and growing a new private dental hygiene service within the clinic, with a particular focus on private hygiene and Airflow treatments.This is not a traditional room-rental opportunity. We are looking for an entrepreneurial practitioner who wants to build a successful private patient diary as part of an established clinic, with our support across reception, bookings, marketing and commercial growth.We are flexible regarding working pattern. The opportunity could begin at 1-2 days per week or could be full-time for the right practitioner, with scope to develop the diary based on demand.The role will operate on a self-employed associate, revenue-share basis rather than a room-rental model, with terms dependent on experience, existing patient base and the level of support required from the clinic.We are particularly interested in someone who wants to play an active role in shaping and developing the service from the outset and become part of the wider clinic team.Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective and high-quality private dental hygiene services within professional scope of practice
- Deliver Airflow treatments where appropriately trained and competent
- Conduct appropriate patient assessments and develop individual hygiene plans
- Provide preventative oral-health advice and ongoing patient education
- Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with GDC and clinic requirements
- Provide appropriate patient aftercare and ongoing management
- Build strong, long-term professional relationships with patients
- Maintain excellent standards of infection prevention, hygiene and patient safety
- Work autonomously within professional scope of practice while collaborating with the wider clinic team
- Actively contribute to establishing and growing the private dental hygiene service
Requirements
- Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Hygienist – essential
- Recognised Dental Hygiene qualification
- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance
- Appropriately trained and competent to provide all services undertaken
- Airflow experience and appropriate training preferred
- Strong patient communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience within a private dental environment preferred
- Comfortable working autonomously within professional scope of practice
- Commercially minded, proactive and interested in building a successful private patient diary
- Existing London patient base or professional/referral network preferred, but not essential
- Commitment to continued professional development
- Eligibility to work in the UK
