Are you highly organised, great with suppliers and paperwork, and happiest when everything runs on time? Join a fast-growing real estate technology company and take ownership of our international supply chain from our Devon base — with genuinely flexible hours and hybrid working.
About Werqwise
Werqwise is an innovative real estate technology and coworking company changing how flexible workspaces are designed, delivered and adapted. Through our Apiro platform we combine our own hardware, software and sensor technology with high-quality coworking spaces. As we expand across the UK and US, we’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Sourcing & Logistics Coordinator to keep our orders, suppliers and shipments moving.
About the Role
You’ll coordinate the day-to-day sourcing and logistics for our Apiro hardware and facility parts — managing orders with established manufacturers and suppliers in China, the UK and the US, coordinating international shipments, and keeping the paperwork, timelines and follow-through running smoothly.
You won’t be starting from scratch. Our supply chain is already up and running, and our Head of Architecture and CEO will hand this work over to you with active, well-supported training. Once you’re settled in, you’ll own the day-to-day coordination.
What You’ll Do
- Place and track purchase orders for Apiro components and Werqwise facility parts against project schedules and stock levels.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with our suppliers and manufacturers in Asia, the UK and the US.
- Maintain the preferred-supplier list, rate cards and lead-time records; help research and onboard new suppliers when needed.
- Organise international shipping (sea, air and courier) with our freight forwarders, and liaise with customs brokers.
- Prepare and check shipping documentation — commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, customs declarations and tariff classifications.
- Track shipments, flag delays early, and resolve issues before they hit project timelines.
- Coordinate deliveries with the on-site team and give the finance team the data they need for tariffs and duties.
- Align deliveries to install schedules and keep accurate inventory records across UK and US sites.
- Introduce and run a tracking tool so components can be monitored and reported on across every stage of the supply chain.
- Produce regular sourcing & logistics reports (in-transit shipments, supplier performance, open POs, exceptions).
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience coordinating and managing processes and suppliers.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities to deadline.
- Confident dealing directly with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders and colleagues across time zones.
- Comfortable communicating with non-native English speakers, adapting your style and using tech to help.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) and quick to pick up new tools like Notion.
- Excellent written communication — supplier emails, status reports and clear exception notes.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with international shipments and customs documentation across Asia, the UK and US.
- A background in logistics coordination, procurement or supply chain.
- Experience with hardware or manufactured-product supply chains.
- Experience supporting a fast-scaling business through a hands-on growth phase.
