We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Recovery Driver & Yard Operative to join our busy team.
The successful candidate will split their time between vehicle recovery work and keeping the yard organised, safe and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Recover and transport vehicles safely and professionally.
- Carry out vehicle collections and deliveries as required.
- Load, secure and unload vehicles safely.
- Complete basic vehicle checks and recovery paperwork.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised yard.
- Move and position vehicles around the yard.
- Assist with general yard duties, including loading/unloading and vehicle preparation.
- Follow all company health & safety procedures.
- Provide a professional and helpful service to customers.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous vehicle recovery, transport or yard experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of vehicle handling and safe loading practices.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
- Recovery licence / relevant recovery experience is desirable.
