We have an exciting new vacancy for a Room Attendant to join our team at The Palace Hotel in Buxton. This 186-bedroom hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Buxton town centre, directly opposite Buxton train station. Main Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of bedrooms and corridors
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Adhere to hotel standards and procedures to ensure consistent quality of service
Personal specification
- Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
- Takes pride in their work and has strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and good work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Experience preferred but not essential (full training provided)
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping
- Be able to work weekends
The successful candidate will join a busy team. Previous housekeeping experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
