Woven Art is a well-established printing company providing high-quality print solutions to a wide range of customers. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Production Assistant to join our production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the print/production industry and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
As a Junior Production Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of our production department, ensuring that print jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Please note this is not an apprenticeship, this is a paid full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the setup and operation of printing and finishing equipment.
- Preparing materials and paperwork for production runs.
- Performing quality checks on printed products.
- Packing and preparing completed jobs for dispatch.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Supporting senior production staff with various production tasks.
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Following company procedures and health & safety regulations at all times.

Skills & Experience Essential
- Good attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Reliable and punctual.
Desirable but not Essential:
- Previous experience in printing, manufacturing, or production environments.
- Knowledge of print finishing processes.
- Forklift licence (training may be provided if required).
