Duties
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment to clean and maintain industrial machinery, floors, and work areas effectively.
- Conduct detailed cleaning of industrial surfaces, including floors, walls, equipment, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.
- Assist with minor construction or repair tasks as needed to support facility upkeep and safety standards.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling tools and cleaning chemicals to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize cleaning schedules and ensure all areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness.
- Perform routine inspections of work areas to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards requiring attention.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, tools used, and safety checks performed.
Requirements
- Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction tasks within an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures specific to manufacturing or industrial facilities.
- Ability to operate various power tools safely and efficiently.
- Prior construction experience is highly desirable for understanding facility maintenance needs.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols at all times.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks throughout shifts.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
