About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Client Manager to join our Accountancy practice and take ownership of their own portfolio of clients. You'll build genuine, long-term relationships with the businesses and individuals you work with, acting as their trusted point of contact for personal tax, corporation tax, and wider accounting needs. We'll actively encourage and support you in networking and growing your own client portfolio, so this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build something of their own within the practice.
Our client base is made up largely of owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and not-for-profit organisations, so no two days look the same.
Depending on the client, your role will vary:
- For clients on our finance function service, you'll work within and manage the team responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping and monthly management accounts.
- For others, you'll work alongside their existing bookkeeper, providing oversight, support and technical guidance.
We're big believers in using automation and good process design to take the manual work off your plate, so you can focus on what matters most: the client relationship.
What We're Looking For
- A strong, well-rounded base of general practice accounting experience, ideally 5 to 10 years
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience
- Solid experience across both personal and corporation tax
- Strong social and communication skills, with a real ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Confidence working within and managing a team, alongside the ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A proactive, self-motivated approach
- An interest in using automation and process improvement to work smarter, not harder
What We Offer
- Salary of £40,000 to £50,000 (DOE)
- Hybrid working, with just one day a week required in our Swansea office
- Flexibility to consider full time or a 4-day week
- The chance to build and run your own client portfolio with real autonomy
Join us at Moneypad Ltd to be part of a dynamic team where your leadership will make a meaningful impact!
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Swansea
