Isabelle Vets is looking for a Night Veterinary Nurse to join our growing team in Guernsey.
This is an exciting opportunity to join us during a period of expansion, growth and significant investment. We are currently building a brand-new veterinary practice at Garenne Park, due to open in January 2027 and is pending hospital status, which will provide modern facilities and 24-hour care for our patients.
We are ideally looking for a permanent member of the team who can join us as soon as possible, although we would also be happy to consider an experienced long-term locum RVN while we recruit for the permanent position.
Joining us now means you can play an important role in helping to shape our new practice and develop our 24-hour night service from the outset.
About the role
As part of our night team, you’ll play an important role in providing high-quality care to our inpatients and supporting emergency cases overnight.
We’re looking for an RVN who:

Is confident working overnight

Enjoys inpatient nursing and providing high-quality patient care

Is comfortable working independently
-
Has good clinical judgement and attention to detail
-
Is a supportive and collaborative team member
-
Is keen to be part of developing a new 24-hour service
You’ll have the opportunity to work within an established practice while also helping to shape how our new practice and night service develop.

Our new Garenne Park practice is due to open in January 2027 and will include:

12+ kennels

A dedicated cattery

Four operating theatres

CT and X-ray facilities

Dedicated equine facilities and stabling

24-hour veterinary care
