We are looking for a full time baker to work at our Granton Bakery. You will be required to work 4/5 shifts per week. You will be joining our production team making cupcakes, scones, tray bakes, brownies, cheesecakes and sponge cakes.
We are looking for a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with icing and buttercream, strong piping techniques, and a passion for creating beautiful custom cakes. Attention to detail is essential, as our cakes are made to a high standard for special occasions and celebrations.
Key responsibilities include decorating cakes using a variety of icing techniques, producing detailed piping work, and bringing custom cake designs to life based on customer requests. The successful candidate should have a good eye for design, be able to work neatly and efficiently, and take pride in the presentation of their work.
Previous experience in cake decorating is preferred, particularly with buttercream, fondant, and piping. Creativity, reliability, and the ability to work well as part of a team are also important.
As a bakery production operator, you will assist in the production or our award-winning products to the highest standards of food safety, output, quality, hygiene and health & safety.
Your responsibilities will include:
Working safely at all times in accordance with policies, procedures and legislation.
Attention to detail is essential. You will be required to work at a fast pace. We are looking for someone with a passion for baking & who has experience in a commercial kitchen.
Your hourly rate / salary will be dependent on experience.
