Duties
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with legal and organisational standards
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication usage, and post-discharge care instructions
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations with professionalism and composure
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment
- Assist in the organisation of clinical supplies and equipment to ensure smooth operational flow
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Registered Nurse with the appropriate regulatory body
- Proven experience in patient care within a Nursing Home setting
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Competence in medication administration, including understanding dosage calculations and potential side effects
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide empathetic patient support
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise tasks efficiently
