Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are made to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Keep up-to-date with menu changes and new product offerings to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Strong understanding of food safety practices is required.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- A genuine passion for coffee and customer service is essential, along with the ability to work well within a team.
