Key Requirements
- Hold Swim England (SE) Level 1 Coaching Swimming Qualification (Required for the Casual Swim Performance Coach only)
- Hold the Swim England (SEQ) Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification or equivalent ie STA, which would require internal training and RPL during the first 6 months
- Hold the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard or NRASTC Qualification or the ability to complete within the first 3 months of employment
- Flexibility with working hours (daytime, evenings and weekends are a must for Swimming Instructor) School Swimming Instructor (Working hours between 08.00-15.15, Term time only contract -Kirklees Schools Term time)
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality sessions in accordance with the Swim England Learn to Swim/School Swimming Charter Scheme, ensuring that all customers have a great experience.
- Ensure that parents/teachers are aware of children’s progression through the Aquatic Pathway by the effective use of KAL’s recording systems.
