About ReConnect
ReConnect is a growing independent therapy practice in Edinburgh providing thoughtful, high-quality therapeutic support to individuals, couples and families.
Our approach is grounded in the belief that relationships play a central role in our wellbeing - including our relationships with partners, family members, others and ourselves.
As ReConnect grows, we are looking for an experienced Couples and Family Therapist to join our network of independent practitioners and help us respond to increasing demand for relational therapy.
The opportunity
We are looking for a warm, thoughtful and professionally qualified therapist who feels confident working therapeutically with couples and/or families.
We are particularly looking for someone who can offer sessions on Fridays and/or Saturdays.
This is a self-employed role and would suit someone who values the independence of private practice while also enjoying being part of a collaborative therapy service.
ReConnect will support you with client referrals, initial enquiry management, promotion through the ReConnect website and agreed administrative support. Once a referral has been made, you will retain responsibility for your clinical work and ongoing therapeutic relationship with the client.
Depending on availability and preference, sessions may be offered from the ReConnect therapy space in Edinburgh and/or online.
About you
We would love to hear from therapists who:
- Hold an appropriate counselling, psychotherapy, psychology or family-therapy qualification.
- Have training and experience in couples and/or family therapy.
- Are a current member or registrant of an appropriate professional body, such as BACP, COSCA, NCPS, UKCP or an equivalent organisation.
- Have appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
- Are registered with the ICO where required.
- Undertake regular clinical supervision and ongoing CPD.
- Feel confident working independently and taking responsibility for their own clinical practice, risk assessment, safeguarding and record keeping.
- Are reliable, communicative and comfortable working collaboratively with a small and growing practice.
- Can offer regular availability on Fridays and/or Saturdays.
We welcome therapists from different therapeutic modalities and particularly value practitioners who work relationally and can bring their own perspective and expertise to the ReConnect team.
