We are looking for someone to join our Grounds Maintenance & Landscaping team.

We offer commercial grounds maintenance & some landscaping to a diverse range of customers including schools, care homes and housing associations.
Job Description:
Your main duties will include leading a small team carrying out grass cutting, weed control, hedge pruning, border maintenance, leaf clearance, winter gritting, litter picking, planting, other landscaping jobs and landscape clearance as required.
- You will ensure that all sites and external grounds are maintained to an exceptionally high and reputable standard
- General ground maintenance duties using horticultural machinery such as powered mowers, strimmers and hand tools.
- Landscape improvement duties to enhance sites.
- Additional duties dependant on client site.
Qualifications:
- Recent Enhanced DBS is preferable
- Great communication skills and committed to the best customer service
- A passion for Horticulture/Gardening/Landscape Improvement
- Valid UK Driving license
- Grounds & some landscaping experience
- PA1 & PA6 spraying license (preferred)
- Be able to confidently use mobile phone technology to record work activity.
Health & Safety and Compliance
Vital Facilities Solutions holds CHAS Elite accreditation, meeting the industry's Common Assessment Standard for health and safety, quality, and compliance. All grounds maintenance and landscaping work is carried out in line with current Health & Safety at Work legislation, and full training, PPE, and toolbox talks are provided as part of your induction.
