We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Swanley premises.
The Role
The successful candidate will work as part of our yard and warehouse team, assisting with the day-to-day operations of the premises. The role involves supervised working and carrying out a variety of practical duties within the yard and warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the day-to-day work in the outside yard and warehouse.
- Loading and unloading stone slabs and other materials.
- Moving slabs and materials safely around the premises.
- Assisting with the organisation and general upkeep of the yard.
- Supporting the team with various manual and practical tasks as required.
- Following instructions from supervisors and working safely at all times.
- Keeping the working area clean, tidy and organised.
- Carrying out other reasonable duties associated with the smooth running of the yard and warehouse.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Safety-conscious and responsible.
- Flexible and willing to assist with different tasks when required.
- Previous warehouse, yard, construction or stone industry experience would be an advantage, but full training can be provided to the right candidate.
- Must have full-time, unrestricted right to work in the UK.
