Renderer – South-East London
We are a plastering and rendering company based in Southeast London. However, our main trade is as a rendering company. We specialise in external insulation silicone render and external refurbishment and are looking for a full-time permanent renderer to join our team.

Main duties
- Discussing project plans with relevant stakeholders and clients.
- Examining and priming surfaces for rendering.
- Selecting the appropriate rendering materials for different sites.
- Protecting non-plastering surfaces with appropriate materials.
- Applying different renders to exterior and interior surfaces.
- Fixing and repairing previous rendering work when necessary.
- Reporting any structural issues to the site foreman.
- Mixing and preparing mortar, render, and other finishes.
- Consulting with other contractors to ensure project deadlines are met timeously.
Requirements:
- One years' experience as a plasterer or in a similar role.
- Experience in silicone rendering.
- Knowledge of different rendering systems.
- Knowledge of different plastering techniques and materials.
- Good communication and professional skills.
- The ability to work as part of a team sometimes outdoors in harsh weather conditions.
- You must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of material purchasing processes is beneficial.
- Experience in using several types of plastering materials.
- Knowledge of decorative plastering and design are preferential.
- CSCS (preferred but not essential)
- It is preferred you have a full driving licence.
- You must provide your own tools and be able to travel independently to all job locations.
- Two references preferred but not essential.
This position has the opportunity for progression within the business for the right candidate.
Expected start date: ASAP.
Rate of pay is negotiable based on current skill set and experience. We would be willing to pay between £170- £250 per day, however this is dependant on your skills and experience.
