Learning and Development Facilitator
Contract : permanent
Working hours : 35 hours per week
Salary: £42,445
Location : London (Hybrid) with travel to our regional hubs
Reporting to: Learning and Development Delivery Partner

About Us:
The Financial Ombudsman Service is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that plays a vital role in UK financial services. Every day we help resolve disputes between consumers, or small businesses, and their financial service providers.
What You’ll Do:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences through a blend of face-to-face, virtual and mixed learning methods. Working closely with subject matter experts, you will design and deliver training that develops technical knowledge, regulatory understanding and essential soft skills, adapting your approach to suit different learning styles and ensuring all learners can actively participate and succeed.
You will support learners throughout their development journey, providing coaching, guidance and constructive feedback to help them build confidence and capability. The role also focuses on continuous improvement, using feedback and assessment outcomes to enhance training content and delivery, while staying up to date with learning best practice. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, you will help ensure learning solutions are inclusive, accessible and aligned with organisational goals.
To be considered for this role, you’ll need to show us that you’ve got the skills and capabilities. You’ll have to meet the following minimum criteria:
Minimum Criteria:
- Proven background in presentation and facilitation, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
- Experience of using various training tools and technologies, including virtual learning platforms.
- A track record of both designing and delivering training both in person and virtually.
- A background of working within an in-house Learning and Development function.
