Location: Bromley office-based (no remote working)
Job Type: Monday-Friday, 9-5.
We are looking for an exceptional sonographer who wants to do far more than scan patients.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced ultrasound professional to combine their clinical expertise with sales, education, marketing, product demonstrations, customer support and business development. You will become one of the key technical experts within our company, helping shape how ultrasound is taught, marketed and understood.
You need to be open-minded and willing to experiment and learn outside of your specialty. In particular, we work with many veterinarians, so if you have not scanned animals before you must be willing to apply your existing knowledge to animals. You also need to be willing to learn some ultrasound techniques outside of your own speciality; for example, if you are an obstetric sonographer, you need to be willing to study the basics of MSK or abdominal ultrasound as and when the need arises (for example, learning the basics ahead of a product demonstration).
If you are passionate about ultrasound technology, enjoy learning, love sharing knowledge and are excited by the future of imaging, we want to hear from you. If you are looking for a clinical role where you will be regularly scanning human patients, this role is not for you.
If you need to scan human patients for reaccreditation purposes, it is likely that you will need to fulfil this requirement through locum work, which you can schedule unpaid leave to undertake (since you will be paid by the locum agency).
The Role
You will become one of the company's technical ultrasound experts and will:
- Provide expert ultrasound knowledge to support our sales, marketing and education teams.
- Speak confidently with customers about ultrasound systems, clinical applications and imaging techniques, bearing in mind the diversity of our client base. You could be taking a call from a dog breeder wanting a £2,000 ultrasound scanner in the morning, a doctor with a £20,000 budget in the afternoon, and an American goat farmer with a $3,000 budget right before you go home.
- Deliver product demonstrations both in person and on camera. We keep travel to a minimum, and off-site demonstrations limited to a maximum of 4 demonstrations per year, accessible by train. You will not be expected to stay away from home overnight.
- Present educational content for videos, webinars and social media.
- Help create clinical training materials and educational resources.
- Support customers with technical and clinical enquiries.
- Advise the marketing team on clinically accurate content and current ultrasound topics.
- Proofread marketing materials to ensure both clinical accuracy and excellent written English.
- Keep the business informed about new developments, research and emerging ultrasound technology.
- Work closely with colleagues across sales, marketing and operations to improve customer experience.

We're looking for someone who genuinely loves ultrasound. You may come from:
- General Medical Ultrasound
- Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasound
- Echocardiography
- Vascular Ultrasound
- Obstetric & Gynaecological Ultrasound
- Veterinary Ultrasound

Applicants from any recognised ultrasound specialty are encouraged to apply. Dogs and cats regularly visit our premises so you must be comfortable around small animals.
Essential Requirements
- Accredited sonographer.
- Excellent, up-to-date ultrasound knowledge.
- Comfortable and confident around dogs and cats.
- Strong interest in ultrasound technology and continuous professional development.
- Comfortable learning new ultrasound applications outside your own specialty.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confident speaking with customers from a range of backgrounds.
- Comfortable presenting to camera and demonstrating ultrasound equipment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Creative thinker who enjoys sharing ideas.
- Professional, positive and collaborative attitude.
- Excellent English punctuation and grammar. You must know what apostrophes are for and how to use them in common sentences. This will be tested at interview. Please do not apply if you are unwilling to undertake this assessment.
What We Offer
This is an opportunity to build a career that combines clinical expertise with education, technology, marketing and innovation.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Influence how ultrasound is taught and promoted.
- Work with cutting-edge ultrasound technology.
- Develop your presentation and media skills.
- Help shape the future direction of a growing ultrasound business.
No two days are the same, and you'll play a key role in helping both our customers and our team succeed.
Working Arrangement
This is a full-time, office-based position.
Because this role involves close collaboration with colleagues across multiple departments, remote or hybrid working is not available.
If you're excited by ultrasound, enjoy learning, and want to use your expertise in a wider and more influential way than traditional clinical practice allows, we'd love to hear from you.
