GL Coachworks Ltd is looking for an experienced and motivated Stripper Fitter (MET Technician) to join our busy accident repair centre. We are seeking a reliable individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle stripping and refitting on a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Removal and replacement of mechanical, electrical, and trim components.
- Diagnosing and reporting damaged parts requiring replacement.
- Ensuring repairs are completed safely and to manufacturer standards.
- Working closely with panel beaters, paint technicians, and workshop management.
- Carrying out quality checks before vehicles are returned to customers.
RequirementsEssential:
- Previous experience as a Stripper Fitter, MET Technician, or Vehicle Technician.
- Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Preferred:
- Experience within a bodyshop or accident repair centre environment.
