Receptionist (1 to 2 days per week) – Kensington or Wimpole St site
Location: Kensington and Wimpole Street sites
Hours: A weekday (8 hours) and Saturday (4 hours)
Contract Type: Flexible, with ongoing weekday, Saturday and leave cover (Annual leave and sick leave) for other reception team members
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Duration: From the beginning of September.

Founded in 1987, Harley Street Physiotherapy is a leading and expanding private physiotherapy practice with multiple locations across London. We are known for our high-quality patient care, collaborative team culture, and continued growth. We are currently seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our front-of-house team.
The Role
As our receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, managing our front desk operations and supporting the clinical and management teams with day-to-day tasks.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients professionally and warmly
- Handle appointment bookings, cancellations, and client queries
- Answer phone calls and emails efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Support the team with clinic operations and marketing efforts
- Liaise with therapists, healthcare professionals, and the admin team
- Attend virtual team meetings and assist with basic admin tasks
Working Pattern
We are looking for someone who can commit to:
- 1 Week day at our Kensington or Wimpole St clinic (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Saturday at our Kensington clinic (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
- Annual leave cover across two other receptionists
- Sickness cover as needed
We will inform you of the need for annual leave cover 2 weeks in advance. Sick leave would be on the same day or the day before. You may have to cover leaves across our two sites in Wimpole St, and Kensington.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in a reception, customer service, or administrative role
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Confident using Mac systems, Google Workspace, and accounting/practice software (e.g., Xero)
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, approachable, and a team player
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Desirable but not essential: Experience in a healthcare or physiotherapy setting
- Desirable but not essential: Degree-level education
