About Shakey Wings
Shakey Wings is looking for an experienced Chicken & Pizza Chef to join our growing team in Norwich. We are looking for someone passionate about great food who can work quickly, consistently and confidently in a busy kitchen.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing and cooking our menu to a consistently high standard, including:
- Fried chicken and wings
- Chicken burgers and loaded dishes
- Fresh pizzas
- Sauces, sides and accompaniments
- Food preparation and portion control
- Preparing orders quickly during busy service
- Maintaining consistent taste and presentation
- Stock rotation and reducing food waste
- Maintaining excellent kitchen cleanliness
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
Who We're Looking For
We want someone who is:
- Experienced in fried chicken, pizza, takeaway or fast-paced restaurant kitchens
- Fast and organised during busy periods
- Passionate about food quality
- Able to follow recipes and maintain consistency
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Knowledgeable about food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Willing to contribute ideas for new menu items, flavours and specials
Previous commercial kitchen experience is preferred.
