Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Multi Trader / Fire Door Installer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain fire doors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and schematics.
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble door components and framing.
- Fabricate custom door parts or modifications as needed using welding, masonry, or carpentry skills.
- Conduct inspections of existing installations to identify repairs or upgrades required for fire safety standards.
- Assist with roofing, plumbing, electrical work, plastering, or masonry tasks as part of broader construction projects.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans to execute precise installations.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, welding or electrical work.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and schematics interpretation.
- Knowledge of fire door installation standards and safety regulations is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform construction painting and plastering tasks when required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the flexibility to undertake diverse trade activities on-site.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship across all tasks.
- Relevant certifications in construction trades or health & safety are a plus but not mandatory.
